Surprised?

You wouldn’t be alone. When I tell people this, I often get raised eyebrows.

After all, doesn’t the WIN Program help women in corporate roles get the roles and negotiate the salaries they want and deserve? Sure, it does do that.

Here’s what I mean though.

The WIN Way program includes career coaching, of the classic kind where it supports you in figuring out exactly what your career goals and dreams are.

But it goes a whole lot further. It also holds your hand as you devise a tailormade strategy to get there and then execute on that strategy so that you make that dream a reality. My in-depth experience as an HR director, being responsible for hiring of senior management and their career development, ensures success there. I know how the game is played.

(Also, please note: I am not a coach in the classic sense that I ask questions that you then answer so that you figure everything out yourself. I am more of a trainer person, in that I have a proven method that I teach you, which works, very consistently. Sorry-not-sorry if you prefer the former kind of support.)

And what about the negotiation advice, you ask? Isn’t WIN all about learning to negotiate?

Sure, that’s part of it. An important part, even. And one that I am immensely proud of, as it’s my own creation that I developed based on ALL the research and ALL the experience of two decades in the workforce as a lawyer and HR director.

But again, it’s so much more than just advice on how to negotiate. It’s about creating a rock-solid belief in yourself. It’s about unleashing your ambition, and thus your potential. It’s about building relationships. It’s about communication in the broadest sense, that allows you to confidently show up in the boardroom. (And the bedroom and anywhere else for that matter, though let’s discuss that another time.)

So yes, The WIN Way includes career coaching and negotiation advice.

And yet, it’s so, so much more than that.
